  • Category A1 Automatic

    A1 Automatic: Motorcycles with an automatic gearbox with a cylinder capacity not exceeding 125 cubic centimeters of power and not exceeding 11 kW. Minimum age requirement 18+

  • Category A1 Manual

    A1: Motorcycles with a cylinder capacity not exceeding 125 cubic centimeters of power and not exceeding 11 kW. Minimum age requirement 18+

  • Fees

    Category 111 10 Hour course can be done if the student has already category B license (cars). With this category one can ride a motorcycle or scooter up to 125cc on Maltese islands only without a pillon.

    Application Fee €60: Includes the Transport Malta fees (€23.25) and insurance cover (€36.75) in case of damage done to motoring school vehicles.

    Lessons A1 or A1 Automatic €22 : 60 minutes each lesson.

    Theory Test €30.25: You need to apply for the Theory Test online on maltatheorytest.com or by calling 2122 7190 and pay the fee directly with Transport Malta Test Centre.
